AIDS cases in adolescent boys have nearly doubled, and the decline in gonorrhea infection rate has reversed. Southern states, where there is often the greatest emphasis on abstinence and religion, tend to have the highest rates of teenage pregnancy and STDs.

I love talking to the Missionaries! I’m all “Hey Elder!” and they get excited. Some of the nicest people I’ve ever met, collectively. I don’t agree with a lot of their (or any, really) religion, but they are usually open to have really frank discussions. I dig that.
